Let go of yourself, help others to be the best they can be, of course through the Holy Spirit,

Let go of yourself, help others to grow in love, of course through Holy Spirit,

Let go of yourself, help others to be transformed, of course through Holy Spirit,

Let go of yourself, help others to do better than you, of course through Holy Spirit,

Let go of yourself, help others to climb higher than you, of course through Holy Spirit,

Let go of yourself, help others to have more than you have, of course through Holy Spirit,

Let go of yourself, help others to grow in love, of course through Holy Spirit,

 

Philip 2:3-4

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others. but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

 

 

Let go of yourself and your own self-interest, even your interest in spiritual growth, help others in the area of your self-interest, let them grow at your expense, and help them to have what you always wanted, that way you will have many children in Heaven, that is the way of love, the way of the cross and the way of Christ.

 

 

Father God,

Help me to help others and totally detach from my own self and desires.

 

Let me have the joy of seeing them grow, 

Seeing them happy,

Seeing them fulfilled,

Seeing them thrive,

Seeing them to become love,

 

Make me a father to many,

Help me to detach from myself and lay myself down for them happily,

 

In Your Beautiful Name.

 

Father,

I don't want to make a name for myself anymore,

I desire to make Your Name lifted up,

 

Help me to help others apart from my name, but under and around Your Name.

 

I don't have to impress anyone with revelations nor good and humanitarian works, or even spiritual works and accomplishments.

 

Lord Jesus accomplished everything for me on that cross and His resurrection.

I am already accomplished,

I already have a great name in the Book of Life through my Jesus,

I don’t need my name on earth to be lifted high,

I don't need to show off my accomplishments to myself nor any others.

 

Help me to share You with others and help them to get to know You,


That is what I desire.

 

In Your Beautiful Name.

From Getting to Giving I had a meeting with a minister today and it was very hard for me. When I got back home, I asked the Lord to tell me the reason. I felt He said that I went to the meeting to receive, not to give. I went to the meeting to get some possible connection for future ministry. May the Lord change our attitude from getting to giving . Selfishness will creep in on us and jump on our shoulders. No matter what we do, if we do it to gain something, we will never be satisfied. Most of our giving is conditional, and conditional acts open the door for our old nature to kick in. Unconditional acts open the door for our new nature to come in. When our new nature rules, there is peace and comfort in the Spirit. But when our old nature rules, there is agony and discomfort. He Comes to Kill When facing a thief with a gun in our houses or workplaces, we think that if we give him all of our money, then he will leave us alone and let us live. Sometimes we have the same mindset when we meet Jesus. We believe that if we give everything we have to the Lord, and serve Him well, then He might just let us live. But the point is this: The Lord doesn’t come to steal, but to kill. He is not after our possessions, He is after our flesh—our old, sinful nature. The Lord will use all of our daily struggles to kill our flesh.
