Agony of God.
Father Love,
I feel You, I feel what You feel, I mean I feel little bit of what You feel and when it comes to me, when it lands on me, it feels like agony.
We easily say to one another, I love You, but what is love if I am not willing to share the pain of the beloved?
We should not separate pain from love for when you love someone, you are almost responsible for their pain, but many will leave at this point and say, no, we only want to share your joy, the joy of the beloved, not the pain.
Father King,
Would You talk to me about being responsible for people’s pain, what does that even mean?
I can care a little bit about my neighbor’s pain, but to feel responsible for their pain is something I never thought of.
What honor it is to care for the pain of humanity and even feel responsible for it.
Father Love,
Make me ready to finally CARE and even feel responsible for the pain of Your Heart and for the pain of creation.
We are so quick to say, I don't care, I don't care, but now I would love to say, that I care, and I care.
